文字を絵のように書いたり、絵のような文字を描いたり。そうしたユニークな様々な日本美術の作品を集めた展覧会。 他の芸術作品と同様に、そうした表現方法は、中国からもたらされた。 空海が唐から持ち帰ったとされる、篆刻文体には、様々な文字の表現方法が書かれており、中には、蛇や魚や人の絵で文字を表現しているものもある。 Peoples write characters like pictures or draw picturesque characters.
