IS YOUR TIME (NTT ICC)

昨年、ワタリウムで開催された、設置音楽という名の展覧会の第2弾。

今度は、会場をNTTインターコミュニケーションセンターに移して、前回は写真なども展示されていたが、今回は坂本龍一の音楽と高谷史郎のインスタレーションに絞っての展示だった。

ワタリウムでは、小さな部屋でアルバムasyncが高谷史郎の映像とともに流されていたが、今回は、広い会場で音楽が流されて、より音楽にフォーカスした内容だった。

坂本龍一が、東日本大震災後の東北で出会ったという、津波にのまれたピアノも会場に置かれ、それが自動演奏機で音を奏でていた。

何とも不思議な演奏だったが、世界中の地震のデータをもとにした演奏だという。

asyncからの音楽と、奇妙なピアノの音色。これまでに経験したことのない音楽体験だった。

This time, moved the venue to the NTT Intercommunication Center, and the photos etc were exhibited last time, but this time it was an exhibition focusing on Sakamoto Ryuichi's music and Shiro Takaya's installation.

In Watarium, the album async was flowing along with the image of Shiro Takaya in a small room, but this time, the content was focused more on music, as music was played at a wide venue.

Sakamoto Ryuichi met in the Tohoku after the Great East Japan Earthquake, a piano stolen in the tsunami was also placed at the venue, which played the sound with automatic playing equipment.

It was a magical performance, but it is said to be based on earthquake data around the world.

Music from async and the sound of a strange piano. It was a music experience I have never experienced before.
